Avita Community Partners is excited to announce a unique employment opportunity in Northeast Georgia. This Full Time Psychiatrist position will treat adults with mental health and addictive disease diagnoses in an outpatient setting. We offer Week-day flexible schedule, NO on-call requirements, and a GREAT SUPPORT TEAM!

Job Description:
Candidates will work mostly with Adults and/or children/adolescents with serious and persistent mental illnesses who are seeking opportunities to improve their lives. Job duties will include but are not limited to the following:

* Initial Psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment orders
* Ongoing medication evaluations and treatment
* Provide acute outpatient psychiatric care as needed
* Provide leadership of interdisciplinary clinical team
* Participate with a Clinical Care Team
* Work closely with team members: administrative team, doctors, nurses, social service technicians, and other counselors, etc.
* C&A Speciliaty preferred.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
** Board Eligible Psychiatrist
AND
** Licensure to practice medicine in the State of Georgia as provided by State law.

Preferred Qualifications:
** Board Certified in General Psychiatry
** Ability to look past a diagnosis and find consumer strengths
** Understanding of the local and community resources
** Bilingual a plus (English-Spanish)
