Salary: Based on Ed and Exp
Provides mental health services to adults, children and adolescents in a community setting as part of the Forsyth County Sherriff’s Department Co-Responder program.
Will coordinate with licensed counselor on team to provide follow-up calls to anyone who has receive a behavioral health service through the Co-Responder Program.
Will assist clients with community linkages and transitional planning upon release.
Will conduct onsite follow-up visits in the community (jails. homes, and/or hospitals)
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and have a Certified Peer Specialist Certificate.
Applicants must not have six (6) or more points against their driver’s license or a suspended or revoked driver's license within the last five (5) years.
All applicants selected for a personal interview will be required to complete a basic typing skills assessment during the interview.
**All qualified applicants will be considered, but may not necessarily receive an interview.**
